Manitoba's first provincial lead championships, hosted by the University of Manitoba in partnership with Climbing Manitoba. This competition allows athletes to compete in the lead discipline at the provincial level, with a chance to qualify to compete at the regional or national level.

About the event
For the first time, athletes have the chance to compete in the lead discipline at the provincial level, with Provincial Lead Championships, hosted by the University of Manitoba Active Living Centre Climbing Wall, in partnership with Climbing Manitoba.
This competition allows athletes the opportunity to qualify for lead competition at the regional or national level. Climbing Escalade Canada's 25-26 Senior National Championships for lead will be taking place February 15-16, 2026 (Boulder Feb 12-13). Manitoba's Provincial Lead Championships is open for senior and youth athletes in all categories (Female and Male; Youth D, Youth C, Youth B, Youth A and Junior). For information on birth years of each category, see Categories.
